Abstrak

The selection of the most effective construction method must be carried out to anticipate traffic congestion during construction. Now we can choose many types of bridge structure, one of which is a hybrid system on the pier. Hybrid system combines reinforced concrete material with steel material. The advantages of hybrid system is that it doesn’t require a casting on the pier head cantilever, so that implementation is faster than conventional concrete pier.The hybrid pier model is arranged separately using a steel frame on the pier head and reinforced concrete on the pier body. The reaction of steel frame was distributed through the shear stud. So that the load distribution can reach the foundation.
