Electronic Filing

Jurnal Teknik ensures the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content through the following measures:

  1. Journal server. All articles are stored and published on the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform hosted by Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani, with routine backups by the university's IT unit.
  2. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). Published content is deposited in the PKP PN, a LOCKSS-based private network that preserves OJS journals and makes content available if the journal ceases publication.
  3. The journal permits LOCKSS systems to collect, preserve, and restore the content for archival purposes. The LOCKSS publisher manifest is available at: https://jurnalteknik.unjani.ac.id/jt/gateway/lockss
  4. Persistent identifiers. Every article receives a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registered with Crossref under the prefix 10.55893, so it remains citable and resolvable even if its web address changes.
  5. Indexing databases. Article metadata and full-text links are also held by the indexing services listed on the Indexing page (e.g., Garuda, Google Scholar, Dimensions).

Self-archiving by authors

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the published version (publisher's PDF) of their article in institutional repositories, personal websites, and scholarly networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu) immediately after publication, provided the original publication in Jurnal Teknik is cited with its DOI. Pre-print versions may be shared at any time; once published, a link to the final version should be added.
